Michael Shaw is a major character in the Terrifier film series. He is father of Sienna Shaw and Jonathan Shaw. He is portrayed by Jason Patric.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Michael, other than the fact he was a comic book artist who made characters such as "Blaster-Man" and an Angel Warrior. For unknown reasons, Michael went "sick" and became abusive to his family until he drank a bottle of jack and drove to a transformer, killing him.
Terrifier 2[]
Whilst he doesn't make an appearance in the movie, he is mentioned multiple times. Jonathan finds a book that used to belong to Michael, and finds out that Michael drew some of Art's victims and Art himself.
Terrifier 3[]
In Terrifier 3, Michael makes his first appearance in unidentified period of Sienna's childhood spent with him. She asks him why there aren't more female characters in his comic series as she is in his room examining the sketches and concepts he has created. In an attempt to counter that notion, the father shows her a woman who appears on a certain incomplete page, but she is a damsel in distress rather than the protagonist of the tale. Sienna uses the occasion to remind her father that he promised to draw a female superhero that can beat Blaster-Man.
He last appears in Sienna's second dream scene. It opens with a follow-up recollection with Michael, who shows her his finished Angel Warrior design for the first time. The finished sketch is offered to Sienna, but as she prepares to receive it, her father gets a glimpse of the future. He saw Sienna battling Art the Clown in the Angel Warrior costume years before the event occurs.
Death[]
It is revealed that before the events of the movies, Michael, for some reason, was sick and became abusive to his family. According to Brooke, Michael drank a bottle of jack and drove to a transformer, killing him.
