Barbara Shaw is the tritagonist in Terrifier 2. She is the mother of Sienna Shawand Jonathan Shaw, she is also the widow of Michael Shaw.

Barbara first appears in a scene in the kitchen with Jonathan and Sienna. She's speaking to a customer over the phone while making dinner for the family. They sit at the dinner table, and Barbara questions her son, Jonathan, what he's going to dress up as tomorrow. After Jonathan says he is dressing up as the "Miles County Clown", Barbara and Sienna rebut. Barbara proves to Jonathan how disrespectful it would be if, "god forbid he attacks someone in our family and people celebrated him". They argue before Jonathan begins speaking about Nazi's injecting children's eyeballs, to which Barbara yells at Jonathan and Sienna thanks her.
Barbara asks Sienna what she plans to do for Halloween, and Sienna tells her she plans to go to "Megan Melanie's Halloween party". Barbara asks if she's going with Allie, and Sienna says she's going with Allie, as well as her friend Brooke. Barbara shoots Sienna a disappointed look and asks her if Brooke is driving, to which Sienna says, "I'm gonna take an Uber." Barbara is suspicious of Sienna and asks her if she's "going to get shitfaced". Sienna tells her that she knows she doesn't drink, and Barbara says, "So you say."
Sienna goes to open a cabinet, but upon opening it, a box of cereal drops out and onto the floor, causing a mess. "Your brother never closes these goddamn boxes." says Barbara. While Barbara's cleaning up the mess, Sienna asks her if she "ever wonders about Jonathan", asking her if she's ever suspicious of how weird he acts, always bringing up serial killers or cult leaders. Barbara just tells her that it's "just a phase" and that it'll pass. Barbara tells Sienna that he "lost his father", to which Sienna says, "And I didn't? You don't see me crying out for attention." Barbara tells Sienna that she keeps everything bottled up, and Sienna says, "Alright, just don't be surprised If you find a dead animal in his room." to which Barbara gets slightly angry and tells her daughter to watch her mouth. Barbara reminds Sienna of the time her husband took Sienna fishing for minnows, and he found Sienna cutting the heads off of the fish. Sienna says she was a lot younger, but Barbara says she was "old enough to know the difference between right and wrong". Barbara once again tells Sienna her brother is fine.
Later that night, Sienna's room catches on fire after her vanity strangely lights on fire by itself. Barbara is woken by the sound of the fire alarm and gets up to see the large flames in Sienna's room. She grabs a fire extinguisher from a nearby cabinet and puts the flames out in time. Barbara scolds Sienna for "leaving burning candles on her dresser all night". Sienna reassures her mother the candles weren't lit, but Barbara is still not taking it. She says, "Then please explain to me how your goddamn room caught on fire!" Sienna says she has no idea, to which Barbara gets even more frustrated. Barbara hears the sound of Jonathan coming downstairs, and tells him to get back to bed. Jonathan is annoyed because he thought he didn't have to go tomorrow and says, "You mean I still have to go?" Barbara gets extremely angry and yells at Jonathan, "What did I say?!" causing Jonathan to retreat back upstairs into his room. Barbara tells Sienna she's "going to kill us one of these days". Sienna and Barbara fight once more and Barbara tells Sienna to sleep with her in her room. Sienna says she is fine with sleeping on the couch, and Barbara tells her once more to go to bed.
That morning, Barbara takes the clothing that was not burnt in the fire and puts it in a trash bag. She tells Sienna to park the car in the garage when she gets home, since their neighbors have been vandalizing the car recently. Sienna asks Barbara if she knows about the sword that her dad gave her, and Barbara asks her if it can be restored, thinking it's been damaged. But, actually, it was not even scathed. Barbara tells Jonathan to hurry up, since he has five minutes before he has to go to school, then she leaves the room as Sienna and Jonathan have a talk.
Later that day, Jonathan comes home from school early. The police come to her door and tell her that her son was at school with a dead animal. She gets angered at Jonathan upon hearing the news, telling him to get to his room. Sienna gets home and notices Jonathan was home early. Barbara comes upstairs after hearing Sienna scolding Jonathan. Barbara tells Sienna about how Jonathan "brought a dead animal to school this morning". Jonathan shakes his head "no" in reply, and tells them about how it was the clown and that it was not him. Barbara gets angry at Jonathan and says, "I don't wanna hear another word about this goddamn clown!" Barbara tells Jonathan she's calling his psychologist.
Later that night, Sienna comes downstairs and shows Barbara her Halloween costume. She calls it "revealing" and says, "Your tits are practically popping out!" Sienna tells Barbara that she was making her dad's character from his sketch book. Barbara says, "Yes, but.. Seeing it on paper and seeing it on your daughter are two different things. You look like you're going to a strip club." Barbara tells her that she did an excellent job, but asks her, "When did Halloween became synonymous with sex?" Sienna calls her mom a "prude" before getting a text from her Uber driver. She kisses her mom goodbye, but, before Sienna leaves, Barbara tells her that, "Dad would've loved it."
Barbara goes upstairs and finds Jonathan in Sienna's bedroom toying with her sword prop. Barbara asks Jonathan if he wants to watch a movie, and tells him that there is a lot of candy left over downstairs. Jonathan tells his mom to go away, and Barbara apologizes but tells him that his plans for Halloween wouldn't have been cancelled if he hadn't "done what he did" at school. Barbara tells Jonathan that she just doesn't believe him anymore, and Jonathan shows her his dad's sketch book that they've been looking for for a long time. Barbara gets mad at Jonathan and tells him that his dad was sick. She says the sketch book is "nothing but a reminder" before ripping it into pieces. Jonathan calls her a bitch, and she slaps him across the face, saying to never say that again. Jonathan gets up and runs out of Sienna's room, downstairs and out of their front door, running away from the house.
Death[]
Hears a noise in the garage. Her car has been vandalized by Art the Clown which later blows her brains out with a double barrel blaster. Later is seen with an empty head, in which Jonathan sees. Art shoves mashed potatoes into her mutilated face and abducts Jonathan.
